Registered Nurse (RN) – Electrophysiology (EP) Lab – Full Time Days Work Location: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231 Work Hours: Full time Days, 4 10 hr rotating shifts (0700-1730). No weekends or holidays. Ep Department Highlights Great team environment with the ability to cross train to other CV areas. Busy procedural area servicing community and hospital patients. Procedures performed are cardiac implants and EP studies/ablations. 4 10 hr rotating shifts (0700-1730). No weekends or holidays. Requirements Diploma of Nursing OR Associate degree; BSN preferred. One-year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program required. One year experience in electrophysiology (EP) lab; or two years’ experience in Emergency or Critical Care areas required. Other: CLIAFE – Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency. RN – Registered Nurse; required upon hire. BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support – prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly. ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support – required within 90 days of hire. Responsibilities The professional nurse exhibits understanding of basic human needs. The professional nurse demonstrates an appreciation of unique meanings by active listening and exemplifying a non-judgmental attitude. The professional nurse demonstrates recognition and understanding of patient’s affiliations. Perform other duties as assigned.
