Enrollment Marketing Specialist

The Enrollment Marketing Specialist supports the planning, execution, and evaluation of
marketing initiatives that promote Alfred University's undergraduate, graduate, transfer,
online, and pre-college programs. Working closely with the Vice President for Marketing
and Communications, Enrollment Management, and the Marketing and Communications
team, this position assists with multi-channel marketing campaigns that engage
prospective students and support recruitment goals.

In this on-campus position, the Enrollment Marketing Specialist coordinates marketing
projects across digital, print, email, social media, events, and advertising while helping
ensure consistent messaging and a positive prospective student experience throughout the
enrollment journey. This position is ideal for a creative, organized, and data-curious
marketing professional looking to grow in higher education marketing.

Compensation for this role is between $33.85 and $34.36 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

Enrollment Marketing Support

• Assist in the execution of integrated marketing campaigns supporting undergraduate,graduate, transfer, online, and pre-college recruitment.
• Coordinate campaign timelines, marketing deliverables, and project schedules.
• Support recruitment marketing initiatives that increase awareness, inquiries, applications, and enrollment.
• Help develop marketing materials for recruitment events, admissions initiatives, and enrollment campaigns.

Campaign and Content Coordination

• Coordinate digital, print, email, social media, and advertising projects.
• Assist in developing recruitment communications and marketing assets.
• Work with the creative team to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
• Coordinate marketing requests from Undergraduate Admissions, Graduate Admissions,and academic colleges.
• Coordinate updates for recruitment websites, landing pages, and digital content.
• Gather information from academic departments for recruitment marketing.
• Assist with organizing photography, video, and student stories.
• Help maintain recruitment publications and digital assets.

CRM and Email Marketing

• Assist with email communications using Slate CRM and other marketing platforms.
• Support audience segmentation and communication workflows.
• Help coordinate recruitment communication calendars.
• Assist with campaign testing and quality assurance

Analytics and Reporting

• Monitor campaign performance and prepare routine reports.
• Assist with tracking inquiries, applications, campaign metrics, and engagement.
• Support data collection using GA4, Slate, and other marketing tools.
• Recommend improvements based on campaign results and audience engagement.

Collaboration

• Serve as a marketing liaison for Admissions and Graduate Admissions.
• Work closely with the Digital Experience team, Social Media Manager, Graphic Designer,and Communications staff.
• Coordinate vendors and project logistics as assigned.
• Assist with marketing support for recruitment events and campus visits.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
• One to three years of marketing, communications, or related experience
• Strong organizational, project management, and written and verbal communication.
• Familiarity with social media and digital marketing platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic marketing technologies.

Preferred

• Experience with email marketing or CRM platforms.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics or digital marketing reporting.
• Experience using content management systems.
• Higher education marketing experience.
• Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar creative software.

Personal Protective Equipment must be worn when required. A respiratory function test and the ability to use respirators may be required. Stairs and uneven surfaces may be present; artificial lifts, etc., may or may not be available. The position may require the incumbent to walk outdoors in all types of weather to other buildings or offices located on the campus. The Campus is in an area that contains numerous hills and slopes and may not always be fully accessible for mobility-impaired individuals.
