Travel RN - BMT Oncology

Location: Denver, CO

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (4, 10-hour shifts) or (3, 12-hour shifts)

Job Description: The Travel RN - BMT Oncology will provide critical outpatient infusion care services for patients in the transplantation and cellular therapy programs. The role involves administering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and overseeing stem cell collection procedures while ensuring high standards of patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer infusions of IVIG, blood products, Albumin, electrolytes, antibiotics, IV hydration, chemotherapy, and immunotherapy.
• Provide oversight for cellular procedures after required training is completed.
• Support the apheresis program and outpatient CAR T infusions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• A minimum of 1 year current acute care hospital BMT Oncology RN experience.
• BLS & ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Provider Certification is essential.
• Competency in IV placement and experience with blood products, antibiotics, IVIG, and IVF administration.
• Experience in working with immunocompromised patients is preferred.
