Assembly Technician

Assembly Technician Location: Saint Paul, MN Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour, depending on experience Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM Shift: 1st Shift Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role involves assembling medical devices, performing quality inspections, maintaining production documentation, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards in a cleanroom environment. Responsibilities Assemble medical devices using small components and hand tools Perform routine quality inspections throughout the production process Complete production records and build documentation accurately Build and package products for evaluation, validation, and manufacturing Verify calibration status of equipment before use Perform line clearance activities before starting new build lots Follow operating procedures, process packets, and GMP requirements Identify and segregate non-conforming materials and notify Engineering as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area Report equipment issues or concerns to leadership promptly Assist with training and onboarding of new Assemblers Requirements High School Diploma or GED required Minimum of 6 months of medical device assembly experience Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Basic math skills Ability to stand for the duration of the shift Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment while wearing required gowning and PPE Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Team-oriented mindset and reliable work history
