Working closely with a Project Manager and field teams, you'll gain hands-on exposure to all phases of construction while building the technical, financial, and leadership skills needed to advance into a Project Manager role.This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and wants a clear path for career growth.ESSENTIAL DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:Support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing multiple construction projects from preconstruction through close-outEnsure project start-up procedures are completed accurately and on timeCreate and manage subcontract agreements and purchase orders based on project scope, estimates, and requirementsMaintain project schedules in MS Project for internal and external useTrack and manage project budgets, cost forecasts, and financial reportingPrepare and manage change order requests (internal and external) and maintain accurate logsReport weekly Financial & Time Exposure Forecasts to the Project Manager and OwnerAssist with monthly billing by coordinating subcontractor billings, coding costs, and verifying payment applications and invoicesEnsure proper accounting practices are followed for projects, subcontracts, and purchase ordersReview, distribute, track, and log material submittals; coordinate approvals and ensure timely procurementCreate, distribute, track, and manage RFIs to maintain schedule and document integrityEnsure Superintendents are accurately documenting daily logs and site photosTrack and manage project testing, inspections, and related documentationMaintain and distribute current drawings and specifications to all project stakeholdersPrepare agendas, attend meetings, and record and distribute meeting minutesManage project files including safety, inspections, testing, and reporting documentationAssist in monitoring and enforcing project safety plansSupport project close-out activities, including punch lists and operation & maintenance manualsKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & EXPERIENCE NEEDED:To be successful in this role, you will be organized, analytical, and proactive. You are eager to learn, adaptable, and motivated to grow into a leadership role.REQUIRED / PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or GED requiredBachelor's degree (or current coursework) in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferredGeneral knowledge of construction practices and project workflowsAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and technical documentsAttention to detailExcellent organizational and time-management skillsStrong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsProficiency with computers, mobile devices, spreadsheets, word processing, scheduling software, and construction-related technologyCOMPENSATION$50,000 - $75,000 USD Annually plus project based bonusesABOUT USWe are a growing construction company built on strong relationships, attention to detail, and a commitment to developing our people.
