Locums Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician in Dillon, South Carolina - Low Volume, Block Coverage

Cover multi-day OB hospitalist blocks with a light inpatient census and typically only 2-4 hours of onsite patient care each day.

Highlights

• Average inpatient census of 1-3 patients
• Typically 2-4 hours onsite per day
• Circumcisions not required

Practice & Cases

• Inpatient OB and GYN coverage for patients ages 15-70
• Approximately 1-3 deliveries and 2-4 NST or observation patients daily
• Vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Emergency department OB and GYN consults as needed

Schedule

• 24-hour pager call coverage
• Multi-day coverage blocks
• Daily inpatient rounding, including weekends
• 30-minute call response requirement

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
• Active South Carolina medical license required
• DEA required

Logistics

• Airfare and lodging provided
• Rental car and mileage provided
