IT Group Overview The technology group supports Private Wealth Sales, Institutional Sales, Wealth Management, Marketing, and Operations. This team builds and maintains the software used to manage private wealth portfolio implementation and trading activities. Their proprietary portfolio implementation and trading platform manages over 35,000 private client accounts representing approximately $150 billion in assets under management. The system integrates quantitative research models and portfolio optimization algorithms to continuously analyze and rebalance portfolios, while also providing interactive tools for portfolio management teams to support: Asset mix changes Client-directed trades Tax loss harvesting Specialized account optimizations Complex cashflows and new account investments Role Overview We are seeking a Software Developer to join the Private Wealth Technology team in Nashville. This role is responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, deploying, and supporting core portfolio management and trading applications. The candidate will contribute to both strategic enhancements and ongoing support initiatives while partnering closely with business users to deliver solutions for complex investment and trading workflows. In addition to software development, this role requires collaboration with business stakeholders to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and provide data-driven solutions in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Work closely with business users to understand requirements and formulate technical solutions Translate raw data into meaningful information to support time-sensitive business needs Design, develop, test, deploy, and support software applications Develop and maintain SQL Server database objects including stored procedures, functions, and database design Coordinate and support quality assurance and user acceptance testing efforts Troubleshoot and resolve production and application issues Support enhancements to portfolio management and trading systems Contribute to ongoing system modernization and process improvement initiatives What Makes This Role Unique This team develops technology solutions that directly support portfolio managers and investment professionals in managing sophisticated client portfolios and trading activities. Qualifications Required 5+ years of professional software development experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field 3–7 years of experience with C++, Java, and/or C# (C++ and C# with GUI design experience using WinForms strongly preferred) 2+ years of SQL experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Sybase, or Oracle Strong object-oriented analysis and design skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Ability to work directly with business stakeholders in a collaborative environment Preferred Wealth Management or Investment Management process and data domain knowledge Experience with graphical user interface design and development Experience supporting business-critical financial applications Familiarity with portfolio management, trading, or investment operations workflows #J-18808-Ljbffr TSG Risk Management
