Wiring Harness Assembly Technician II

Wire Harness Assembly Technician- Level II
Level II Technicians will primarily be responsible for building assemblies ranging from intermediate to complex wire harnesses. Technicians II will be expected to have a wide knowledge of hand tools and machines to complete various tasks.
Essential Job Functions:
- Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or work instructions to perform required tasks to complete a portion of, or entire assembly.
- Maintain work area compliance to all standards including but not limited to; all required materials are to be labeled and properly stored; each work area used must be cleaned after use; all tools are to be put away when not in use; Work Order packets are to remain with their corresponding jobs with all documents accounted for.
- Comply with all ElectriPack standard building procedures including but not limited to; First Piece Inspections, Mid-Process Inspections, Work in Progress Documentation, and Electronic Labor Tracking.
- Packaging finished products and organizing them for shipments
- Completing checks on equipment and products to ensure quality production
- Actively participate in all required training
- Regular attendance at work
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Show initiative
Requirements:
- Must be performing "At the Bar" or greater
- Scanning in and out of work orders correctly (%)
- Create and Printing Labels
- Completes work orders under quoted times
- Less than 20% Rework Rate
- Level 2 Hand Crimping Training
- PICO Crimper Training
- Level 1 AMP Press Training
- Level 1 Sonic Welder Training
- Heatshrink Cutter Training
- Fully Cross-trained in one other area of the wire harness assembly production area
- Must have achieved IPC/WMMA 620 Certification
