Service AdvisorAs a Service Advisor, you will own our customer’s experience in the service lane. You are the first point of contact with our customers and will be well-versed in product offerings, inventory needs, technician scheduling and customer service. From greeting vehicle owners on the drive line to explaining the repair process, our Service Advisors are true professionals who enjoy helping others. We welcome individuals who are new to the automotive industry but with previous roles in customer service, retail sales, restaurant industry or hospitality. You will also find a wide selection of parts for your new or used vehicle.What We OfferMedical, Dental & Vision InsuranceLife InsuranceShort & Long Term DisabilityFlexible Spending Accounts401K + MatchPaid VacationsEmployee DiscountsTop Pay Plan in Area!ResponsibilitiesGreet customers upon entry to the service driveCommunicate with customer to determine the nature of mechanical issuesObtain accurate customer and vehicle dataMaintain & manage customer's requests regarding all topics concerning their vehicles & warrantiesManage the path of each customer's vehicle throughout the promised time period givenCommunicate and update the customer on estimates, approvals & completion of repairsEstablish each customer's payment method & obtain approval of credit, if necessaryComplete closure to the customer at the end of the processFollow up after customer visit to ensure satisfactionHandle telephone inquiries regarding work in process & appointmentsAnalyze quality control report to ensure that work is complete as request to reduce comebacksEstablish & maintain good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat & referral businessEnsure that work areas & customer waiting areas are kept cleanAll other duties as assignedQualificationsAssociate's Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six-months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education/experienceAbility to read, analyze & interpret technical proceduresAbility to write reports, business correspondence & procedure manualsEffectively present information & respond to questions from managers & customersBasic mathematical skills & reasoning abilityCustomer service, computer & organizational skillsCurrent, valid driver's license & satisfactory MVR
