About this position

The Infusion Nurse uses the nursing process to care for customers. The Nurse performs initial patient and ongoing assessments and develops plan care as needed. The Nurse applies a hybrid approach of infusion services which includes face-to-face customer visits, telephonic follow up. The Infusion Nurse starts IVs, draws labs and administers supportive infusions and medications. Additionally they complete tasks including injections, vital checks and chart documentation. The Infusion Nurse prioritizes workloads and manages the Clinic schedule. The Infusion Nurse documents accurately and maintains records for clinical practice.

Requirements

Education
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.


Experience
• 1-2 years of nursing experience in a hospital or clinic setting is required.
• Patient education, rheumatology, and/or general triage experience is preferred.
• Previous infusion experience is preferred.


Licensure/Certification
• Current RN license in the state of Minnesota State Requirement
• Current BLS training or completion of training during orientation NMHC Standard

Benefit Eligibility: Health insurance benefits are available for this position. North Memorial Health offers multiple health plans based on work group eligibility.

Salary Range: N24 ($42.29 - $63.24), based on experience


Shift Differential: Compensation may include shift differential pay depending on the position and shift worked.
