Job Description As a Security Officer Badge Patrol in Boiling Springs, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a college campus, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, respond to security-related concerns, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon12:00 AM - 08:00 AMTue12:00 AM - 08:00 AMWed12:00 AM - 08:00 AMThur12:00 AM - 08:00 AMFri12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, access concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established campus protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of academic buildings, parking areas, walkways, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns. Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate campus personnel and/or Allied Universal supervision. Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site requirements. Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
