MIG Welder

Now Hiring Mig Welders! Qualified Staffing is hiring experienced Mig Welders for a growing manufacturing and fabrication company in Richmond, VA. This position is responsible for fabricating, fitting, and welding steel components while ensuring quality and accuracy. What Youll Do Perform Mig welding on fabricated steel frames, assemblies, and metal components Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions Measure, mark, fit, and align materials according to specifications Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions Operate welding equipment, cutting torches, grinders, and fabrication tools Inspect completed welds and assemblies for quality and accuracy Prepare and finish welded components through grinding and sanding Utilize measuring tools to verify dimensions and weld quality Operate pallet jacks, overhead cranes, and hoists as needed Move, organize, and store materials throughout the production area Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements Support production goals and team operations Perform other duties as assigned What Were Looking For Previous Mig welding experience required Tig welding experience is a plus Fabrication or manufacturing experience preferred Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings Ability to read a tape measure accurately Strong mechanical aptitude Good math and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality High school diploma or GED preferred Why Work With Qualified Staffing?
