If you're looking for a great company with great people—this is the place to be!OverviewThe Brand Ambassador role will be responsible for achieving customer objectives in both the Off & On Premise, Key Performance Indicators (KPI), and targets by implementing strategies and tactics while managing customers in a manner that will achieve profitable long-term growth.ResponsibilitiesCustomerDeliver on volume and profitability objective by brandEnsure compliance to Corporate Brand StrategiesIncrease the quality/quantity of accepted innovative business building proposalsUnderstand best practicesApply comprehensive market, product and consumer information to generate brand and volume building activitiesIncrease number of accounts where we are considered trusted advisor:Become part of customers planning processObtain preferred supplier status (right of first refusal)Understand and deliver on account's goals, strategies and opportunitiesSet goals, measure, evaluate and adapt to changesMeet and exceed customer expectation on fundamental business needsOrganizationalIdentify and adopt key account management best practices beyond customer and industryLead development of annual plans for key accounts that reflect agreed brand and customer strategies and support the delivery of business goalsDevelop preferred supplier status with accounts by participating in the accounts planning processCommunicate market, brand and consumer developments/trends/best practices inside and outside the category and/or industryInfluence Allied Beverage Group sales teams to develop account specific programs in line with brand strategies using local consumer insightRecommend suitable account specific brand and volume mix targetsOversee account performance and implement corrective business building actionsProactively participate in strategy briefing sessions and provide continuous feedback on execution and program effectivenessEnsure delivery of specific Category Management guidelines and principles to strategic account category manager resource aligned against customersSet and achieve KPI's (Depletions, Distribution, Ads, Displays, Features, Shelf Execution, Digital Posts, Menu Placement, Wells, House Pours, POS, Permanent Signage etc.)Engage in relationship building activities with buyer for all key accountsKPI'sWeekly Pre-plans and RecapsAchieve monthly KPI GoalsCommunicate and Manage Targets through Local TeamWork with Allied Beverage Group Sales Reps & Managers on key prioritiesWeekly check-in on targets – Business Reviews and opportunity discussionsSales Rep ride-withsField & Key Account Manager ride-withsPresenting updates at weekly team meetingsAttend eventsResponsibility for Core list of Off & On Premise accountsPlan & Prepare Account/ActivitiesAccount Business ReviewsActivate PRUSA Marketing ProgramsExecute Retail Controllables and Brand Standards at L3FAccount auditsAssess and implement account needsConsumer SamplingStaff EducationDigital PostsQualifications1-2 years major account responsibilityBudget, sales and marketing experience with major CPG company4-year college degree or equivalent experienceComprehensive understanding of spirits to include knowledge of categories, basic production, and serviceAbility to adapt and can assist a variety of internal customer groups and varying personality typesStrong negotiation skills; demonstrate an entrepreneurial spiritAbility to create and sell innovative ideasGoal oriented, focused, and assertive individual who needs little direction or supervisionAbility to work flexible hours which include early morning evenings, and/or weekendsAbility to work overnight travel as requiredAbility to participate in business meetings, company initiatives and events upon requestStay apprised of federal, state and local laws affecting the beverage/alcohol industry within account responsibilityManaging complex customer relationshipsStrong sales skills, superior negotiation and influencing skillsLeadership capabilities with strong presentation and interpersonal skillsProficient in fact-based selling and analysis of syndicated consumer data (IRI, Nielsen)Basic brand marketing and finance skillsBasic computer skills (excel, access, word, PowerPoint etc.)Compensation and BenefitsThe anticipated salary range for this position is $65,000 to $70,000, depending on qualifications such as experience, education, and skillset.
