Human Resources Coordinator

Description

We are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team.

Hourly Range: $20 - $24

This role provides administrative and operational support across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, HRIS/payroll support (Paycom), and offboarding processes. This role ensures accurate documentation, timely processing of HR transactions, and delivery of a positive employee experience while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The Human Resources Coordinator will work closely with other team members and report to the Senior People Experience Manager.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Recruitment Support

• Refresh job postings and respond to applicant inquiries in a timely manner.
• Maintain regular communication with Talent Specialist on recruitment activities.

Onboarding

• Coordinate onboarding for interns and contractors.
• Prepare and maintain onboarding documentation, trackers, and system entries.
• Initiate onboarding tickets and process PAFs (hires, rehires, transfers, promotions, bonuses).
• Ensure accurate filing of employee documentation and disposition of non-start candidates.

Offboarding

• Manage offboarding processes, including documentation, system updates, and tickets.
• Prepare termination paperwork and maintain accurate tracking of separations.

Paycom / HRIS Support

• Maintain employee data accuracy within Paycom.
• Support system access (password resets, new supervisor logins).

Compliance & Employment Verification

• Process I-9/E-Verify and unemployment claims.
• Complete employment verifications in accordance with legal guidelines.

General HR Support

• Provide administrative and operational HR support across the agency.
• Ensure timely, accurate documentation and assist with special projects as needed.
• Other duties, as assigned.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

Our ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of HR experience in an HR specific role and the following:

• High school diploma, required.
• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or related field, preferred.
• At least 21 years of age and pass background check, physical, and drug screening.
• A valid driver's license in the state you reside in, proof of current vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
