Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN - Labor & Delivery Nurse Lead for a night shift travel contract requiring 5+ years of L&D experience and at least 2 years of charge/supervisor experience.

Details

• Labor & Delivery (L&D) unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
• Rotating schedule with no set days
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NRP
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required, completed within the last 2 years
• Minimum 5 years of L&D nursing experience required
• Minimum 2 years of supervisor or charge nurse experience required
• Active, unrestricted RN license with no prior license hits
• 2 supervisor references required: one from within the past year and one from within the past 2 years
• Must have worked in the L&D specialty within the last 3 months

Additional Information

• Nurse Lead role with charge nurse responsibilities in the L&D unit
• RTO is capped at 5 days for the duration of the contract
