Bayside Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram of Annapolis, MD is hiring an Express Service Technician. We are looking for someone with a year or two of maintenance experience who is ready to build a career in a dealership service department. You will work on a fast-moving express drive with paid manufacturer training and a clear path to apprentice technician.

Essential Functions
• Perform oil change services and communicate findings to service advisors and teammates.
• Inspect and refill fluid levels as needed.
• Complete multipoint vehicle inspections, including inspection video, measuring brake, tire, and battery wear.
• Clean and lubricate fittings as needed.
• Install oil drain plugs, oil filters, air filters, cabin filters, and wiper blades.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, following all shop safety procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• One to two years of automotive maintenance, quick lube, or general repair experience preferred.
• Must own a basic set of hand tools. Bayside provides all major shop equipment and specialty tools.
• A selfmotivated individual with strong attention to detail.
• A resultsoriented individual who enjoys working in a fastpaced environment.
• A positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills.
Work Environment

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The employee works in an automotive dealership environment and may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, oils and solvents, fumes or airborne particles, varying temperatures, and wet or humid conditions. The noise level in the shop areas is usually loud.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, sit, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee will frequently be required to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position. Saturdays are required on a rotating schedule.

This position is located in Annapolis, MD.
