TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Prescott Valley, Arizona, 86314!

Job Title: RN II - Telemetry Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12-Hour Days Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Clinician must take and pass the dysrhythmia exam within two attempts prior to signing the contract. Candidates must have minimal experience in MedSurg, with a preference for those with telemetry experience. RNs must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips. Description: Unit will care for a diverse patient population, including both surgical and medical diagnoses. Common surgical cases include total hip and knee replacements, small bowel resections, hysterectomies, and exploratory laps. Medical cases may include MRSA, C-diff infections, suicide attempts, drug or alcohol withdrawal, COPD, pneumonia, and COVID-19. Telemetry is used for monitoring patients experiencing chest pain. The nurse-to-patient ratio typically ranges from 1:5 to 1:6. There are support staff to assist with patient care. RNs utilize telemetry monitors and must be proficient in reading telemetry strips. Shifts are scheduled on a rotating basis, with weekend shifts required every other weekend and a fair distribution of holiday shifts. Candidates may be required to float to different units based on patient care needs. The dress code allows for various scrub colors, with the exception of camouflage. Nursing staff will have the opportunity to precept nursing students.
