Industrial Maintenance Technician

Location: Le Mars, IA
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $25-$35/hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair industrial recycling equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair compactors, balers, conveyors, shredders, and related equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues
• Minimize equipment downtime and keep operations running efficiently
• Assist with equipment installation, upgrades, and improvements
• Work closely with operations and maintenance leadership

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance or heavy equipment experience preferred
• Experience with balers, conveyors, compactors, shredders, or similar equipment preferred
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance needs
• Strong safety mindset
