Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3x12's) | 36 Hours Guaranteed Per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients across all gestational ages and acuity levels in a 25-bed Level III NICU
• Operate and monitor specialized equipment including Bubble CPAP, ventilators, high flow nasal cannula, feeding pumps, breast pumps, and Alaris IV pumps
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:2 to 1:3, adapting to changes in patient assignments as needed
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR
• Float to postpartum unit when census or staffing needs require
• Function as a collaborative team member, supporting colleagues during high-census or high-acuity shifts

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (must meet state requirements for Indiana)
• Minimum 3 years of Level III NICU experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP certification
• Ability to work weekends as assigned
• Must wear hospital-issued scrubs

Preferred Experience / Skills

• STABLE certification preferred
• Experience with IV insertion and delivery room stabilization
• Proficiency with CPAP and mechanical ventilator management
