Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Texas required
• Previous school-based or pediatric therapy experience preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation practices
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Effective communication skills to interact with students, staff, and families
• Commitment to ethical, student-centered care

Core Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ motor needs and provide evidence-based physical therapy interventions
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans as part of the IEP team
• Document progress and communicate outcomes clearly to both staff and families
• Consult with teachers and classroom staff, offering strategies to support student mobility and participation
• Educate students, families, and school staff on safe practices and adaptive techniques
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing student care planning
