Role: Project/Change Manager With SAP SuccessFactors EC and ECP Location: Denver, CO Description A Project Manager or Change Manager role focused on SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) and Employee Central Payroll (ECP) is a highly specialized position that sits at the intersection of HR transformation, technical implementation, and business process change. These roles are critical for ensuring that core HR and payroll systems are not only implemented correctly but also adopted successfully by the organization. Core Responsibilities Project & Program Management: You will lead full-cycle implementations, managing scope, timelines, budgets, and resources. This includes developing detailed project plans, overseeing risks, and reporting progress to senior leadership and stakeholders. Payroll & HR Process Configuration: A key aspect is working with the technical team to configure Employee Central and Employee Central Payroll to meet specific client or company requirements. This involves analyzing current payroll processes to ensure efficiency and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Stakeholder & Vendor Management: You will act as the primary liaison between internal teams (HR, Finance, IT), external implementation partners, and third-party vendors. Strong skills in negotiation, communication, and expectation management are essential to keep all parties aligned. Change Management & Adoption: Beyond the technical "go-live," this role focuses on the "people side" of change. You will drive change readiness activities, facilitate workshops and training, and manage resistance to ensure end-users embrace the new solution. For a dedicated Change Lead role, this includes developing change strategies and communication plans. Testing & Quality Assurance: Overseeing all testing phases is critical, particularly for payroll where accuracy is paramount. This includes managing integration testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to guarantee data integrity and accurate payroll calculations. Required Qualifications And Skills Employers look for a blend of deep SAP SuccessFactors expertise, project management discipline, and business acumen. Experience: 5+ years of direct experience managing SAP SuccessFactors implementations. 7-10 years of total experience in HRIS, Payroll, or Project Management. Proven track record with at least 2-3 full-cycle implementations involving Employee Central and/or Payroll. Technical & Functional Knowledge: Deep expertise in Employee Central (EC) core functionalities (e.g., Position Management, Time Off, Benefits, MDF frameworks, Business Rules). Strong experience with Employee Central Payroll (ECP), including configuration and an understanding of payroll legislation and compliance. Familiarity with integration points between EC, ECP, and other HR or financial systems. Project Management Methodologies: Proficiency in methodologies like SAP Activate, Agile, and Waterfall. Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum are highly preferred. Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with C-level executives, HR teams, and technical consultants.
