PACU Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a PACU Registered Nurse (RN) with expertise in acute care to join our dynamic healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), ensuring patient safety and comfort during the recovery process.
Scheduled Details
- Rotating start times between 8 AM - 11 AM
- PACU end time 8:30 PM
- 36 hours per week with 9-hour shifts
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of solid acute care hospital experience
- At least one travel contract completed
- Passed EKG test with a score of 80% or higher
- Critical Care PACU experience in an acute care setting
License and Certification Requirements
- Current Illinois RN License
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- PALS Certification
Schedule Requirements
- Weekend Requirements: 3 weeknights (8 PM - 7 AM) and 1-24 hour weekend every 6 weeks
- 30-minute call back time
- Holiday requirements per call rotation
Orientation
4 hours of non-billable orientation required.
Credentialing
All documentation is due by Wednesday prior to the start date.
Location
Position available in multiple locations within the region.
