Material Handler

Material HandlerPGS Worldwide is seeking a Material Handler in Clearfield, UT for a 4-month onsite contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company.The Material Handler will support material movement, inventory, shipping, and receiving activities at Hill Air Force Base. This labor-intensive role includes loading and unloading materials, maintaining bench stock locations, replenishing inventory, and using tablets and scanners to accurately document material transactions.Required SkillsBachelor's degree with 0–3 years of relevant experience.U.S. citizenship required for access to Hill Air Force Base.Experience with material handling, inventory, shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.2–4 years of experience using Microsoft Office applications.2–4 years of strong written and verbal communication experience.Ability to use Windows-based tablets and handheld scanners.Ability to count, weigh, sort, and accurately record materials.Ability to load and unload materials by hand.Ability to use carts, hand trucks, and other material-handling devices.Ability to follow specific work instructions and established inventory procedures.Ability to remain on feet for most of the workday.Ability to perform labor-intensive material-handling activities.Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy.What You'll DoLoad, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility.Support shipping and receiving activities as assigned.Open containers using appropriate hand tools.Count and weigh materials and record inventory information.Load and unload materials from pallets, trays, racks, conveyors, and machines.Sort and place materials into designated bench stock locations.Perform inventory transactions using a Windows tablet.Order materials for bin replenishment using a handheld tablet and scanner.Move materials using carts, hand trucks, and related equipment.Stack, organize, and assemble materials as required.Maintain accurate inventory and material-movement records.Support additional warehouse and material-control activities as assigned.Work Schedule / ShiftMonday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM. 1st shift.
