OneStream Financial Data Analyst

We are seeking an experienced OneStream Financial Data Analyst to support a large enterprise client during a critical financial systems transformation. This contract role centers on validating, reconciling, and analyzing financial data as the organization transitions from HFM to OneStream, with a planned consolidation go‑live in August 2026.

The analyst will play a key role in ensuring data accuracy, identifying discrepancies, and confirming that financial data flows and consolidations operate as expected. This opportunity is well suited for a detail‑oriented professional with strong financial systems experience, advanced Excel skills, and a focus on data integrity and process improvement.

Job Title: OneStream Financial Data Analyst
Location: Hybrid – Rochester Hills, MI
Pay Rate: $65+/hour (W2, based on experience)
What’s the Job?

• Analyze financial data flows between source systems and OneStream to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Perform detailed data reconciliations and tie‑outs across HFM, OneStream, and supporting schedules.
• Identify, investigate, and document data discrepancies or process gaps.
• Support validation activities once consolidations are enabled, ensuring results align with expected financial outcomes.
• Provide ad hoc financial data analysis and reporting support as needed.

What’s Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in financial systems, data analysis, or financial consolidation.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex data analysis and reconciliation.
• Experience analyzing and validating large, complex financial data sets.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain findings to business and technical stakeholders.
