Spring Valley Health & Rehab is hiring Hospitality Aides to support our care team and residents while you train to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Now, let's talk about YOU and why you'll love this role: What You'll Do (AKA: Your Everyday Superpowers) Support Resident Well-Being:
- Assist residents with daily activities like meals, hydration, companionship, and mobility-no hands-on care required at this stage.
- Provide warm, friendly interactions that brighten our residents' days.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and comfortable environment for residents and staff.
- Work closely with CNAs and nurses to learn care routines and protocols.
- Provide updates and observations about residents' well-being to the nursing team.
- Pitch in where needed to help our community run smoothly.
- Enroll in a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program, fully supported by our team.
- Receive hands-on experience and mentorship as you prepare to take your certification exam.
- Transition to a CNA role with us upon successful completion!
- No CNA certification is required to start-we'll train you.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- A heart for helping others and a strong desire to grow in senior care.
- Positive attitude and a team-first mindset.
- Compassionate, dependable, and eager to learn.
- Excellent communication skills and a warm, respectful approach with residents.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with resident movement under supervision.
- Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, resident-centered environment.
