Fundraising Manager, Walk to End Alzheimer's

Position Summary As Manager of Walk to End Alzheimer’s, you will lead the implementation of the world’s largest Alzheimer’s fundraising event across the markets of Dodge City, Garden City, Great Bend, and Hays, Kansas. You will build community and corporate relationships, drive revenue and participant goals, and guide volunteer committees. Responsibilities Recruit, train, and coach volunteers to execute proven fundraising strategies and achieve event revenue and participation goals. Identify and engage community and corporate leaders, building sustainable relationships that increase event visibility and revenue. Manage multiple peer‑to‑peer walk events annually, ensuring growth and operational excellence. Set event budgets, timelines, and milestones, using data to optimize outcomes and drive continuous improvement. Represent the organization in the assigned markets and maintain a positive, inclusive team environment. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 3‑5 years of experience in recruiting and mobilizing volunteers or meeting sales targets. Proven success building corporate and community relationships. Strong organizational, communication, and financial management skills. Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time, work evenings and weekends, and handle physical requirements like lifting up to 25 lbs. Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and social media; familiarity with Luminate/Convio preferred. Compensation Base salary range: $50,000 – $57,000 with a performance incentive of up to $13,000.
