JobDescription
DesignEngineerwilldevelop,planorganizeandconductcomplexdesignassignmentsandberesponsibleforsupportingallaspectsofdesignandanalysisforactuation.Candidateswillbefamiliarwithtestinghydraulicandelectro-mechanicalsystemscomponents.

JobResponsibilities:
• Performdutiesinsupportofnewproductandsustainingdesigns
• CoordinatewithotherEngineeringandtechnicalgroupstodevelop,implement,monitor,andstatusassignments
• Responsibleforcompletingdevelopment,design,testingandcertificationassignmentsfornewdesignormodifications.Developscreative,scientificalternativesduringcourseofjobassignmentstoreachdesiredoutcome.
• InitiatedesignsorincorporatedesignimprovementsutilizingCATIA?V5andV6orSolidWorkssoftwarewithanemphasisonmodelinganddrafting
• Consultsandcoordinateswithotherengineeringandmanufacturingpersonneltocoordinatedesignfunctionandresolvetechnicalproblems.Consultswithsuppliertodiscussandremedyissuesinamoretimelyandefficientmanner.
• RequestsandcoordinatesworkperformedbyEngineeringsupportgroups,Experimental,ManufacturingandSupplyChainManagementfortheproject
• MaintainscontactwithProductSupportEngineeringandproductiondepartmentstoresolveengineeringproblemsimpedingproductionandtoassistintheincorporationofnewdesignconceptsandchanges.

Education:
Bachelor'sDegreeinMechanicalEngineering,ElectricalEngineering,AerospaceEngineeringorotherrelatedfield.

RequiredQualifications:
• StrongfamiliaritywithCATIA,SolidWorks,orsimilarCADsoftware
• FamiliaritypreferredwithsoftwarepackagessuchasKissSoft,LabView,MatLabSimulink,MathCad
• Demonstratedtechnicalandorganizationalleadership
• Demonstratedabilitytoworkasateamplayerbothinternallyandexternally
