Onsite Physician Services – Urgent Care \n
Location: Erie, PA 16504\n
Shift: Standard Shift \n
Duration:  Full time position \n
Job Responsibilities \n
\n
Clinical Responsibilities (Direct Patient Care – ~85%)\n
\n•    Provide urgent care triage, evaluation, and patient assessment \n
\n•    Order and interpret diagnostic tests and recommend treatment plans \n
\n•    Document all clinical encounters in CPRS (same-day documentation required as per VA guidelines) \n
\n•    Stabilize patients and arrange transfer when higher-level care is required \n
\n•    Provide consultations and communicate with referring providers (in person or by phone) \n
\n•    Ensure appropriate medication management in compliance with VA policies (no sample medications allowed) \n
\n•    Communicate test results to providers and patients \n
\n•    Provide discharge education and follow-up instructions \n
\nAdministrative Responsibilities (~15%)\n
\n•    Attend staff meetings as required by Medical Director or Chief of Staff \n
\n•    Complete QA/QI documentation for procedures, complications, and outcomes \n
\n•    Follow all patient safety and infection control protocols \n
\n•    Report incidents, medication errors, and patient safety concerns within 24 hours via VA reporting systems \n

Qualifications \n
\n•    Active, full, and unrestricted Physician license in any U.S. state or territory \n
\n•    No history of revoked, suspended, or restricted licensure \n
\n•    Board Certified or Board Eligible \n
\n•    Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification \n
\n•    Strong communication skills in English (speaking, reading, writing) \n
\n•    Must provide proof of licensure, certification, education, and training as required \n
