About This Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced trainer to lead training classes on behalf of PATCH.
This role is an on-call position that requires flexibility and adaptability.
What You'll Do- Prepares and delivers training classes as scheduled by PATCH, ensuring a high-quality learning experience for all participants.
- Ensures that all necessary materials and supplies are readily available for each class, and that the training area is well-equipped and organized.
- Familiarizes themselves with the training curriculum and equipment, and is prepared to address any technical issues that may arise.
- Coordinates and manages all paperwork related to each class, including distribution, collection, and completion.
- Responsible for setting up and cleaning up the training area before and after each class, and ensuring that the space is left in a safe and orderly condition.
- Ensures that all training materials and paperwork are returned to the PATCH offices in a timely manner, and that all deadlines are met.
- Attends or reviews the minutes of all statutory trainer meetings to stay informed and up-to-date on relevant topics and developments.
- Participates in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with the latest curriculum updates and DHS-mandated topics.
Minimum three (3) years experience providing training to adults who work with children and
Minimum twelve (12) credits in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field AND at least ten (10) years ECE experience.
OR
Bachelor Degree or higher from an accredited college in ECE or related field AND at least three (3) years ECE experience.
- Applicants must show the above experience and proof of credits.
This position requires physical presence in Hawaii.
