Role Description The Inside Sales Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Columbiana, AL. This role involves managing customer inquiries, preparing quotes, and processing orders for building materials and related products. The Inside Sales Coordinator collaborates with outside sales staff and yard personnel to ensure accurate pricing, product availability, and timely order fulfillment. Daily responsibilities include answering phone calls and emails, providing product information, entering and tracking orders in the system, and following up to ensure customer satisfaction. The role also includes maintaining organized records, assisting with inventory or stock checks as needed, and supporting a professional, service-oriented atmosphere at the sales counter. Qualifications Strong Inside Sales skills, with the ability to manage quotes, follow up on opportunities, and support sales targets. Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills, focused on building relationships, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience. Effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with customers, colleagues, and vendors. Order Processing skills, including accurate data entry, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines. Basic knowledge of building materials or a willingness to learn product lines and applications. Proficiency with point-of-sale or ERP systems and standard office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets). Ability to work on-site in Columbiana, AL, in a fast-paced environment, while staying organized and reliable.
