This is a working supervisor position: the candidate will be expected to be on the shop floor, not just overseeing from an office.

What you'll be doing

• Interpret job specifications, blueprints, and job orders, and allocate resources in an effective manner
• Produce accurate cost and time estimates and quotes
• Ensure parts are of the highest quality and that workflow stays on deadline, working with and reporting to the shop supervisor, engineers, and sales team
• Provide a safe, organized, and professional working environment
• Continuously implement improvements to operational efficiency and quality of work
• Program, set up, and operate CNC machines as needed
• Inspect, test, and confirm parts meet or exceed blueprint specifications and tolerances

Machines, controls and software

Experience with Okuma mills and Mazak lathes required. 10 years of experience programming in Mastercam.

What we're looking forRequired

• 1-5 years of experience supervising
• 10 years of experience programming in Mastercam
• 10-15 years of experience CNC machining and programming complex custom parts from various materials, with a stainless steel focus, to correct specifications and tolerances
• Experience with Okuma mills and Mazak lathes
• Must pass a drug screening and background check

Pay, benefits and schedule

$95,000–$115,000 per year, with compensation based on experience and ability. Full-time, in person.
