Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Special Education Teacher – K-8

Location: Phoenix, AZ
Assignment Dates: July 20, 2026 – May 21, 2027
Student Start Date: July 30, 2026
Schedule: Full-Time

Position Summary:
Provide specialized instruction and support to K-8 students with diverse learning needs. Manage a special education caseload, implement IEPs, monitor student progress, and collaborate with staff and families to ensure students receive appropriate educational services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs.
• Provide individualized instruction and support.
• Monitor and document student progress.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers.
• Maintain compliance with special education regulations.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.

Qualifications:

• Valid Arizona Special Education certification or eligibility.
• Knowledge of special education laws and best practices.
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
