NURSING SUPERVISOR

Nurse Supervisor (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) Location: New Bedford, MA (Just 35 minutes South of Taunton, MA) Salary: $10,000 Sign on Bonus for RN / $8,000 Sign-on Bonus for LPN. Nurse or LPN required. Responsibilities Supervise nursing care in accordance with rules, regulations & guidelines governing long‑term care. Ensure all nursing personnel assigned to you comply with written policies and procedures established by this organization. Ensure that all nursing personnel comply with procedures set forth by the organization. Assure the implementation of resident care plans. Conduct assessments and care plans appropriate for residents admitted to the facility. Communicate pertinent information and interpret facility policies to residents, staff, families and visitors. Communicate effectively with all disciplines. Keep DON informed of any changes in resident condition. Review, investigate and document properly all incidents/accidents. Requirements Registered Nurse (LPN or RN) in the State of Massachusetts, preferred. Nurse management/supervisor/charge nurse experience. Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing or Long‑Term Care facility preferred. Strong organizational skills; detail oriented. Exceptional critical thinking skills. High level of professionalism and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards. Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding for older adults.
