Work Environment\nThis position is entirely remote, allowing you to offer therapeutic services from the comfort of your own space. You will utilize telehealth platforms to conduct sessions, ensuring flexibility and accessibility for our patients. Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma history and establish suitable treatment pathways. \n
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and enhancing resilience. \n
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), adapting as necessary to fit each patient’s unique situation. \n
- Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to assist patients in processing their trauma and developing effective coping strategies. \n
- Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated, patient-centered care. \n
- Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, guiding patients through critical moments. \n
- Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms while providing resources for further support. \n
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards. \n
- Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development related to trauma-informed practices. \n
- Stay informed on the latest research, trends, and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance therapeutic effectiveness. \n
In this role, you will work primarily with individuals who have experienced trauma, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and other related disorders. Your expertise will help empower these patients to rebuild their lives, restore their mental health, and regain hope. You will provide services to diverse populations, recognizing the need for culturally-sensitive approaches in treatment.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Current and valid licensure in Texas as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT. \n
- Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-informed care, trauma-related disorders, and evidence-based treatment modalities. \n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, exhibiting a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to patient care. \n
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth tools. \n
While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling is preferred, we highly value motivation and a commitment to trauma-informed care. Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and managing high-stress situations will be advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits\nThe salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
