We are the world's largest producer of sustainable wood pellets, which provide a low-carbon alternative to fossil fuels.The major purpose of the position is to ensure proper preventive maintenance is completed on critical and auxiliary machinery associated with 24/7 pellet manufacturing. This typically involves a meticulous adherence to approved procedures, identification and documentation of out of specification equipment, and submission for follow-on inspection/corrective maintenance as applicable. Driving continuous improvement of the lubrication and associated preventive program is included with support provided by the company.ResponsibilitiesPerform routine lubrication preventative maintenance on all equipmentPerform routine preventative maintenance inspections on all machinery and equipment.Ability to troubleshoot and repair identified issuesMonitoring and maintaining inventories of fuel, oil, filters, etc.Works with Maintenance Coordinator and/or CBM technician to analyze and plan action from Oil Analysis reportsReports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor.Maintain cleanliness of machinery prior to and after lubricationComplete required route sheets and work orders related to lubrication routesProvide feedback on improvements to routes or equipment and modify / expand lubrication routes as requiredMaintain proper housekeeping and lubricant storage standardsEnsure proper inventory of lubrication is readily available on site.Adherence to all plant environmental, health and safety guidelines, policies and practicesQualificationsMeticulous with attention to detailExperience with preventive, predictive, and reliability-based maintenance practicesDemonstrated knowledge and skills in hydraulics, lubrication, and mechanical equipment; basic understanding of types of lubricants and application each is suitedExperience reading technical diagrams and schematicsExperience with vibration analysis and precision alignment a plusAbility to work well in high places in excess of 80 feet, use man lifts, and work in confined spaces.Must be willing to complete training as required by Supervisor and specified by EnvivaStrong verbal and written skillsExperience with computerized maintenance management system a plus, or manual system, requiredBasic knowledge of Windows, Excel, WordPreferred Qualifications - What Will Set You ApartHigh School Diploma or GEDPrevious experience in a similar role with fluid power or lubricationWorking ConditionsMust be able to work in outdoor environments and occasionally in temperatures above 100 degrees and below 32 degreesWilling and able to work in a hot, humid, cold and noisy industrial environmentWilling and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment.Physical RequirementsAble to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, crawling. and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day.Able to work around moving equipment and machinery.Able to pull and lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA.Ability to climb a crane in excess of 100 feet high.Ability to work from heights (at least 20 feet off the ground).Able to climb vertical ladders (fixable or portable) at unbroken lengths of up to 20 feet.Able to climb multiple flights of steps, angled ramps as needed.Able to work on computer screen format for up to twelve (12) hours a day.Able to walk construction sites at various stages of completion and weather conditions for up to twelve (12) hours a day.This position is not eligible for visa support.EEO StatementEnviva is dedicated to the principles of equal employment opportunity (EEO) in any term, condition or privilege of employment.
