Phlebotomist

Job Description The role is a part‑time Plasma Donor Screener and Phlebotomist working at the Plasma Center. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager. Responsibilities Answer phones and greet donors, ensuring their safety and providing customer service. Screen new and repeat donors, record donor vital signs and finger‑stick results. Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation. Identify operational improvement opportunities and initiate changes to center processes. Assist donors and support a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to walk, stand, lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees for the entire shift. Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical capacity to lift up to 32 lbs and occasionally 50 lbs; able to lift 5 lbs for regular work. Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance. Experience of at least one year in a customer or patient‑facing role (helpful). Benefits Hourly wage starting at $16.00, subject to state or local minimum wage requirements. Eligibility for short‑term and long‑term disability coverage.
