We're looking for a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to support our Fuel Operations team. In this role, you'll be responsible for processing invoices, maintaining customer and employee account information, researching billing discrepancies, and supporting month‑end accounting activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, enjoys working with data, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment where accuracy and customer service are essential. Key Responsibilities Create and maintain customer and employee accounts in company systems. Maintain fuel codes and location information. Import transaction data and process fuel‑related invoices. Generate and process manual invoices as needed. Research and resolve missing, incomplete, or inaccurate billing transactions. Manage Fuel Card and Fuel Will Call email inboxes. Respond to fuel card inquiries from employees and internal departments. Generate weekly and monthly customer reports. Set up and maintain employee accounts. Assist with month‑end closing activities. Communicate and collaborate effectively with Accounting, Operations, Customer Service, and other departments. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications Required Minimum of 1 year of administrative, billing, accounting support, or related office experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Intermediate math and analytical skills. Ability to identify issues, gather information, and resolve problems efficiently. Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.. Excellent customer service and telephone etiquette. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with team members across departments. Must reside within 60 miles of our Houston office. Preferred Experience with SAP or other ERP systems. Experience in the fuel, transportation, logistics, or energy industry.
