Responsibilities
- Provide skilled occupational therapy services to inpatients per the established plan of care, collaborating with the therapy team.
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement interventions to improve daily living activities, mobility, safety, and cognitive functioning.
- Document patient progress in the electronic medical record, communicate findings to the supervising clinician, and participate in interdisciplinary rounds and care planning.
- Support discharge planning, provide caregiver education, and develop patient and family home programs to promote continuity of care after discharge.
- Ensure patient safety, apply infection control practices, maintain equipment, and adhere to regulatory and facility policies.

Requirements
- Active Massachusetts license as Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Ability to work in an inpatient rehab/long-term care setting within a skilled nursing environment
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
- CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain prior to start
- Availability to commit to a 13-week travel assignment
