RN Educator - Interventional Radiology

Role Overview The Clinical Nurse Educator in Interventional Radiology leads staff education, onboarding, and ongoing training within the department. They serve as a clinical resource, mentoring team members, providing bedside coaching, and supporting evidence-based practices. The role involves collaborating with leadership to identify educational needs, develop competencies, and enhance quality, safety, and patient experience outcomes. Key Responsibilities Design and deliver educational programs, skills training, and competency assessments Lead orientation and staff development initiatives Maintain clinical expertise through direct patient care as needed Support specialty certification and professional growth Qualifications & Skills Current Illinois RN license Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's preferred 3-5 years of recent procedural nursing experience (Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab, EP Lab) Previous education or staff development experience preferred Certifications: BLS, ACLS; specialty certification or willingness to obtain within a year Strong communication, leadership, coaching skills, and experience with electronic medical records (Epic preferred) #J-18808-Ljbffr Vetted Solutions
