ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Review batch tickets – Read, understand, and follow.
• Provide samples to lab.
• Pack product into designated containers; labeling containers.
• Report near miss incidents and improvement opportunities.
• Equipment cleaning, plant cleaning, waste disposal.
• Forklift operation.
• SAP inventory look-up and SAP duties.
• Tub washer.
• Gather and weigh ingredients. (Scale operation)
• Participate on plant teams.
• Stock rotation / Minimization of partial containers.
• Ingredient traceability.
• Operate and trouble shoot mixing equipment.
• Combine ingredients in designated sequence.
• Training others.
• SAP CORK duties and SAP Cycle count duties.
• Preliminary quality checks.
• Operation of equipment with an inerting system.
• Wear appropriate PPE at all times & maintain a clean work area and work safely.
• Participate actively in all plant safety initiatives, programs and training sessions.
• Follow all standard operating procedures with respect to performance of position duties & stay updated on all applicable procedures.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma/GED or the ability to pass a pre-employment screening assessment required
• Must be computer efficient.
• Must possess basic math skills.
• Candidates must have demonstrated experience with and knowledge of safety.
• Candidates must possess sound verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work 40 hrs. and overtime.
