Critical Care / ICU RN – Nights | 

• Specialty: Critical Care / ICU
• Shift: Nights | 3x12 (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Weekly Hours: 36
• Experience: 5+ years recent ICU/Critical Care experience
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Weekend: Every other weekend
• Call: None
• Float: CCU, CVICU overflow, Critical Care Step-Down, and Med-Surg (if critical care units are fully staffed)
• Patient Ratios:
  • CCU/CVICU: 1:2–3
  • Critical Care Step-Down: 1:4–5
  • Med-Surg: 1:6
• Unit Sizes: CCU (22 beds), CVICU (14 beds), CCSD (31 beds)
• Charting: Meditech
• Patient Population: Adult & Geriatric
• Must-Have Skills: Ventilator management, critical care drips/titration, ECG rhythm interpretation, ABG/lab interpretation, IV starts, NG tube placement, arterial lines, chest tubes, central lines, CRRT, conscious sedation, bedside procedures, TigerConnect communication
• Preferred Experience: Teaching hospital, high-acuity ICU, CRRT, IABP, SICU, MICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU
• Common Diagnoses: Respiratory Failure, STEMI/NSTEMI, Cardiogenic Shock, Septic Shock, Stroke, GI Bleeds, CABG, Vascular Surgery, Post-op critical care
• Scrubs: Royal Blue (neutral solid outerwear or NAMC logo only)
• Additional Requirement: Completion of Lifetalent online modules, including NIHSS, ACLS/BLS, Moderate Sedation, iStat, and Glucometer certifications before start.
