Job Summary

EDU-AIDs is seeking a dedicated and passionate Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of students with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations to assess patients' or students' physical abilities, mobility, strength, and functional needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve movement, balance, coordination, and independence.
• Provide therapeutic exercises and interventions to help achieve rehabilitation or educational goals.
• Monitor progress, document treatment outcomes, and modify therapy plans as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, teachers, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and families to ensure coordinated care.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and staff on exercises, injury prevention, and the proper use of adaptive equipment or mobility devices.

Qualifications

• Valid licensure or certification as a licensed Physical Therapist with experience in school-based settings.
• Experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and community members.
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.
