We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Purchasing Agent to join our team. The idealcandidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials to ensure the smoothoperation of our supply chain.Responsibilities:Manage the procurement process from identifying suppliers to negotiating contractsCollaborate with vendors to obtain the best terms for purchasesMonitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of materialsAnalyze market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisionsWork closely with internal teams such as Logistics and Materials Management to optimize supplychain efficiencySkills:Proficiency in ExcelStrong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with suppliersKnowledge of procurement processes and best practicesExcellent communication skillsBenefits:Health insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceLife insuranceHealth savings account401(k) matchEmployee discountsExperience:Procurement: 1 year (Preferred)Purchasing: 1 year (Preferred)Requirements:Bachelor’s DegreeAbility to Commute:Vineyard, UT 84059 (Required)Nutricost is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
