Please be aware that smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas of Barry’s studios and corporate offices. About the Role Client Specialists are the first line of contact at all Barry’s studios. They provide hospitality, assist clients with class selections, bookings, and questions, maintain studio cleanliness, manage FuelBar orders, and handle merchandise purchases. They are excellent communicators, brand ambassadors, and team players who help create memorable experiences for every client. What You’ll Do Front Desk Responsibilities: Deliver a superior hospitality experience and support studio amenities. Welcome clients, answer questions, and provide personalized assistance. Maintain clean and welcoming studio environment, assisting with cleaning, restocking, and upkeep. Guide clients on promotions, membership discounts, and special events. Maintain product knowledge for all retail operations and attend training sessions as directed. Communicate effectively with supervisors and peers via telephone, email, text, or in person. Flexibly work weekends, holidays, mornings, afternoons, evenings, and nights to meet schedule and availability requirements. Fuel Bar Responsibilities: Prepare and serve quality protein smoothies with excellent customer service. Handle pre‑orders and on‑spot orders tailored to each client’s needs. Operate the POS system and complete orders promptly. Maintain a clean and sanitized Fuel Bar station, following safety, food handling, and sanitation regulations. Rotate merchandise in refrigerated coolers and department tables, paying special attention to spoilage. Prepare fuel bar items following company recipes. Facility Maintenance: Prepare studio spaces before, during, and after classes by cleaning equipment, sweeping, mopping, and wiping mirrors. Support locker room cleaning and maintenance to brand standards. Perform deep cleaning, organization, and service of common areas such as lobby, FuelBar, lounge spaces, retail shelves, locker rooms, hallways, and storage areas. Conduct small studio repairs when appropriate. Complete laundry services including collecting, washing, and folding towels. Follow daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance checklists. Customer Service: Provide high‑level hospitality to all existing and new clients. Maintain client database and utilize information to increase client contact. Attend community events to generate new business and promote in‑studio events. Qualifications Strong hospitality skills aligned with Barry’s Mission, Vision, and Values. Availability for full‑time (minimum 30 hours per week) or part‑time (minimum 24 hours per week) schedules, including weekends and varying shifts. Friendly, outgoing personality and enjoy social interaction. Enthusiastic, patient, courteous listener who demonstrates empathy. Can‑do attitude with a cooperative, team‑focused mindset. Ability to prioritize and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment. Exceptional cleaning skills and a strong sense of a sanitary environment. Attention to detail and commitment to studio appearance and cleanliness. Team player with all Barry’s staff to ensure operational efficiency. Professional appearance and behavior.
