Responsibilities: Assist diesel mechanics with inspections, repairs, and maintenance on heavy-duty trucks Retrieve, organize, and stage parts and tools needed for repair jobs Perform basic maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid checks, and filter replacements Help with the removal and installation of truck components under mechanic supervision Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environmentDispose of used fluids and materials in accordance with safety and environmental guidelines Support parts inventory by stocking shelves and locating parts as needed Requirements: Basic mechanical aptitude and interest in diesel engines or heavy trucks Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely Physical ability to lift heavy components and stand for extended periods Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced diesel mechanics Prior shop, automotive, or mechanical experience is a plus but not required About Us: Lyons Truck Parts Inc has been a trusted name in the Kenosha, WI area, providing quality truck parts and repair services to keep commercial vehicles running strong.
