2027 Future Talent Program -Pharmaceutical Analysis and Digital Technology (PADT) and Large Molecule Analytical (LMA) - Co Op

Merck's Future Talent Program offers a 4-6 month cooperative education placement in pharmaceutical analytical chemistry and large molecule analysis. Co-ops will develop novel analytical methodologies, characterize drug substances and products, and gain exposure to modern instrumentation and research techniques across multiple laboratory locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute novel analytical methodologies for drug substance and product characterization
• Conduct research on instrumentation for small molecules, biologics, and vaccine analysis
• Record experimental details accurately in electronic notebooks and analyze data
• Participate in departmental and project team meetings to understand drug development processes
• Present research results in oral and written formats

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical/Biological Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science, or related field
• Completed at least two years of studies toward a bachelor's degree by June 2027
• Available to work full-time for 4-6 months starting early to mid-2027
• Strong academic performance and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in multifunctional team environments
• Basic laboratory skills and research experience preferred
• GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred

Compensation: $39,908 - $111,111
