This position assists customers, cleans, fills and rotates the cheese and deli displays in the Bulk Deli. The Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk works the morning shift, beginning the day replenishing product as instructed by the Bulk Deli Manager or Assistant Bulk Deli Manager in a specifically assigned area. The Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk is responsible for assisting customers throughout the entire shift and maintaining the cleanliness of the department. The working environment is typical for a fast‑paced grocery store. Essential functions include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling, as well as visual and auditory requirements. Food Handler Card or equivalent certification is required for all positions related to preparation, handling and serving food.
