Wellness Coach

Young Mens Christian Association of Wenatchee Essential Functions Dedicated to Coaching members in support of their desired behavior change and regularly checks on members progress in meeting personal and program goals. Answersquestions from members to support them in achieving their goals related to healthy living. Maintains working knowledge of wellness and trends to provide effective information and support to members. Conducts Wellness Center orientations as assigned/scheduled. Builds effective, authentic relationships with members; helps members connect with each other and the YMCA. Introduces new members to group exercise communities basedtheir health and well-being goals. Utilizes tools and information for the purpose of increasing member knowledge of wellness as well aswellness programs provided through the YMCA (handouts, schedules, etc.). Conduct Coach Connections with members to help develop plans to meet their individual needs. Maintains and cleans equipment according to the schedule or as requested by Fitness Coordinator. Follows YMCA policies and procedures; responds to emergency situations. Performs other duties as assigned. Other Position Functions Greet members and communicate regularly with them to build community involvement Attend all applicable meetings and trainings Display the values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.
