Western Slope In-Home Care provides home care services to Medicaid, VA, LTC insurance, and private pay clients who want to remain independent and live in their own homes. Caregivers need to live in the NW Colorado area to work with our Agency. You can be a part of that mission.Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour 20 - 30 hrs a weekHere's Why Our Team Likes Working with Us:Benefits eligible at 30+ hours per week.401K offered to employees after two years of work.Supplemental insurance available.One-on-one patient care.Flexible SchedulingResponsibilitiesProvide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eatingRemind clients to take prescribed medicationHelp with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)Assist with personal care and hygienePlan and prepare mealsComplete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do soPerform housekeeping dutiesReport any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergencyOffer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessaryIdeal Candidates will:Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.Promote personal safety and a safe environment for clients.Maintain compliance with agency policy, procedures, and job requirements.Qualifications:High School Diploma or Equivalent.CNA a plus but not required.1 years of caregiver experience preferredCaregivers work in the privacy of each patient’s home allowing you more time one-on-one to get to know your patient and provide quality care.
