Location: Phoenix, AZ / Dallas, TX
Job Type: Contract Opportunity

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Java Microservices Developer with strong Kafka expertise to join a banking technology team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience developing scalable, high-performance applications in the banking/financial services domain .

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs .
Extensive experience with Apache Kafka , including producers, consumers, topics, partitions, and event-driven architecture.
Experience designing and developing scalable, resilient microservices for banking applications.
Strong understanding of SQL/relational databases and integration patterns.
Experience with AWS/Azure cloud technologies is preferred.
Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and Agile development methodologies.
Banking or financial services domain experience is highly preferred .
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
